Awning windows, like casement windows are incredibly energy efficient and provide significant light and obstructed views. An awning window is hinged at the top and operates outward. This style of window is the perfect solution for openings on the main floor, specifically over a kitchen counter or sink.

Installation

The installation of your new windows is as important as the window itself. That’s why we do all installations ourselves – we never subcontract our installs. We take the approach of measuring brick to brick and doing a full frame replacement. With this approach, all existing frames, jambs and casing are removed. In most cases, windows are installed with a brickmould that is welded by our manufacturer, giving the outside of your window a clean finished look. We finish off the inside with all new solid wood, pre-primed jambs and casing, we do not use MDF.

Warranty

All our windows supplied by AC Vinyl carry a lifetime warranty on the vinyl, hardware and weatherstripping. Glass and paint carry a warranty of 10 years, as does our labour on everything we do.
